Plan delivery before the order is finished
Shipping decisions affect carton planning, document preparation, landed timing, and how safely the products reach the buyer.
Share the destination country, city or port, preferred transport method, and whether a forwarder has already been appointed. Battery-powered products may need additional transport information, so the final power configuration should be known before the shipping plan is confirmed.
Carton quantity, dimensions, gross weight, net weight, and total volume are useful for comparing freight options. For private-label orders, check that product labels, color boxes, master cartons, barcodes, and shipping marks match the approved destination requirements.
Build time for sample approval, artwork confirmation, production, inspection, booking, export handling, and transit into the launch schedule. A target arrival date is more useful than a target factory-finish date because it exposes the full delivery path.
Before booking, decide who will confirm freight, provide shipping instructions, review draft documents, and authorize release. These responsibilities matter when the buyer uses a nominated forwarder or combines the order with other cargo.
